SLOUGH needed penalties to see off Chatham ■ at Arbour Park.
The visitors dominated the first half, taking the lead through Jordy Mongoy’s close-range finis while home goalkeeper Charlie Horlock kept out Simon Cooper and John Ufuah.
The hosts improved after a triple substitution at half-time before both Chatham’s Jamie Yila and the home side’s Lexus Beeden were sent off in quick succession.
John Gilbert rescued Slough with a stoppage-time equaliser when his cross evaded everyone and forced a shoot-out.
