n MILTON Keynes Irish moved nine points clear at the Premier Division summit but had to graft for a 2-0 win at Colney Heath. Irish’s fifth straight league success was earned by goals either side of the interval but only after Heath had tested keeper Tom Ladyman through Francis Tortora and Jamie Fulton.
The opener arrived just shy of the half-time whistle, George Shrieves nipping in at the near post to nudge the visitors in front, with the second arriving 11 minutes after half-time when James Meadows converted a corner.
