MULBARTON WANDERERS are up to second in the table after a late 1-0 home win against leaders Fakenham Town on Saturday. Owen Lane scored the game’s only goal in the 91st minute and his side are now just three points behind Fakenham with one game in hand.
Ely City dropped to third in the league after being held to a goalless draw away to Hadleigh United and Thetford Town also dropped a place to fourth after drawing 2-2 away to Cornard United. Freddy Cooper’s 83rd minute equaliser rescued a point for Cornard.
