STANWAY ROVERS go into Christmas leading the league, despite being held to a 3–3 draw against Takeley. Rovers led 2–0 at half time, Milo Grimes and Jamie Bennett scoring, but Coby Miles and Jack Mitchell replied. Thomas Massey gave Takeley their first lead after 81 minutes, only for George Okoye to rescue a point soon after.
Woodford Town are second after a Friday night scare at Barking. Trailing to a 10th-minute Juwon Akintunde goal, David Gokou-Siakouri’s double, midway through the second half, turned it around.
