A FIRST-HALF Tommy Davis strike proved to be enough as Billericay Town secured a win.
It was a slow start to the game but the first chance produced the first goal. A corner from the left on nine minutes fell to Matt Johnson, who flicked the ball on to Davis, thundering home for his second goal in four games.
Max Mitchell’s side weren’t out of this one though and Bailey Stevenson would have been disappointed that he didn’t test Sam Donkin as he fired wide after cutting inside on the left.
