CARSHALTON moved into the top half with a narrow victory over Hashtag, who remain seven points offthe play-offspots.
The game was hardly a classic, with neither goalkeeper, Mackenzie Foley for the Robins, or the Tags’ Jack Giddens, overworked.
In the second minute, a Carshalton free-kick promised danger but Tommy Bradford’s attempt was easy meat for Giddens.
Kwaku Frimpong made a great challenge on Josh Osude just inside the Carshalton box and the referee waved away Hashtag penalty claims.
