CURTIS Da Costa’s third goal of the season, and a first for new signing Lewis Rustell, helped Chichester City make up ground in the playoff promotion race with a 2-0away win over relegation-threatened Hastings United.
Hastings began on the front foot with a succession of corners as they unsuccessfully probed for a breakthrough, the game’s first real chance arriving midway through the firsthalf when George Walker turned his man inside out and shot goalwards, though Magnus Norman was equal to his effort.
