HENDON – after a club record four months, nine days and 22 League matches – finally tasted victory, deservedly overcoming play-off-chasing Chichester City.
They made a great start, Kofi Anokye-Boadi, wriggling past three defenders before curling a shot past Magnus Norman from 20 yards. Norman made two more important saves, denying Tope Fadahusi and Niko Muir before City even threatened, but then J’Ardell Stirling made a brilliant tackle to dispossess Isaac Bello.
