Hassocks chairman Pat Harding admits he has been warned he should quit while he’s ahead after overseeing the club’s first major trophy in their 123-year history – in his first season in charge.
The Robins sealed the Southern Combination League title with a 3-0 victory over nearest challengers Crowborough with five matches remaining at the Beacon last Saturday.
