Bassett hits the sweet spot

CHESHUNT were left to rue missed chances as they again failed to capitalise when on top. The first half saw defences on top and both goalkeepers were called into action to sweep up through-balls or make themselves available to pressed defenders.
The Cheshunt attack failed to pull the trigger in time and Lewes looked dangerous breaking as Shae Hutchinson and Bobby Unwin fired high and wide.
Lewes’ Matt Warren blocked a point-blank shot from Kenny Coker and in the last minute of the half Vas Vasiliou’s shot was well-saved by Toby
