■ MIKEY Davis bagged a  brace as a ruthless Bury Town put Sporting Bengal United to the sword.
Bury might have to settle for second, and the play-offs, but sent a strong message to their potential opponents.
After struggling to make their first-half pressure tell, Max Maughn broke the deadlock in first half stoppage time. Bury continued to improve after the break and Davis added a second four minutes after the restart.
