LYE were officially relegated as they failed to ■ win on the road at Hinckley. After a goalless first half, Michael Armstrong broke the deadlock with a crisp finish to give Lye an even bigger mountain to climb.
Ten minutes later, they managed to get back into the game when Elliott Ball equalised, but with Josh McKenzie receiving his marching orders,ten-man Lye found themselves behind once again when Chris Jones fired home.
This time the visitors could not hit back and their relegation was confirmed.
