SEAN McConville says he is ‘prvileged’ to have been handed his first job in management so soon after ending his full-time playing career at Accrington Stanley.
The 35-year-old has been drafted in by NPL West side Clitheroe following the departure of Jimmy Bell after just seven months in charge of the Blues.
“I’m delighted to be here. To be given the opportunity not long after coming out of full-time football is a privilege,” said McConville, who made a club-record 445 appearances for Stanley.
