Hartlepool sign defender Myles Anderson

Hartlepool have made their first signing of the summer by bringing in defender Myles Anderson.
The 28-year-old, who can play as either left-back or center back, joins Matthew Bates’ side after having left relegated this summer.
Anderson came through the academy set up at before moving to SPL side Aberden. A spell with Blackburn Rover followed before the defender made the move to Italian side Monza.
Anderson returned to England in October 2016 with before making a move to Chester.
Hartlepool have high hopes for next season after enduring a difficult campaign this year. The club finished in 15th position this season amid financial problems but a takeover led by local businessman Raj Singh in April has brought renewed hope to the club.
