Gateshead’s potential new owners and their advisors are currently undergoing discussions with the National League and FA regarding their takeover of the club.
This comes following last month’s agreement with Richard and Julie Bennett to transfer ownership of the club.
A foreign consortium, believed to be based in Hong Kong, have agreed in principle to take over.
The takeover is subject to National League and FA ratification with talks continuing throughout the week.
Current owners Richard and Julie Bennett will then attend a meeting with their potential successors at the end of the week.
