Eastleigh sign Oscar Gobern

National League club have brought in midfielder Oscar Gobern after the 27-year-old left Yeovil.
Gobern, who started his professional career with Southampton, joined Yeovil and non-contract terms in December and went on to make 14 first-team appearances to help the Glovers to a 19th place finish in the League Two table.
The former MK Dons and QPR man was initially offered a new contract to stay at Huish Park following the culmination of the League season but has opted for a move to The Spitfires.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Eastleigh manager Andy Hessenthaler said, “I am absolutely thrilled to get this over the line. He has a decent pedigree and played at a good level. He is young and hungry and will be a big addition to the playing squad.”
“I would also like to thank the club in their efforts to get the deal completed. I know there has been a lot of hard work gone on behind the scenes and I can’t thank them enough.”
