Tranmere Rovers have signed right-back Jake Caprice from National League side Leyton Orient.
The 25-year-old struggled for first-team football at Brisbane Road towards the end of last season and was transfer listed by manager Justin Edinburgh.
Caprice came through the youth ranks at Crystal Palace before leaving The Eagles for Blackpool in 2012.
The right-back then moved to Woking in 2014 where he firmly established himself as a first-team regular during his two seasons at the Kingfield Stadium.
Tranmere boss Micky Mellon told the club’s official website, “I’m pleased to bring Jake to the Club.
“He’s a player who has impressed me every time I’ve seen him play – he’s quick, strong and likes to get forward.
“He brings us competition to the right back spot and that’s healthy for the group.”
