Salford City have bolstered their attacking options ahead of the new National League season by bringing in striker Danny Lloyd from League One side Peterborough United.
The 26-year-old arrives at Moor Lane after featuring 27 times for Posh last season, finding the net on seven occasions.
Lloyd is a proven Non-League goalscorer having netted 21 times for Stockport County during the 2016/17 season.
The striker, who began his footballing career with Southport has also represented the likes of Colwyn Bay, Lincoln City, Tamworth and AFC Fylde.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Salfrod boss Garry Alexander said, “We know the qualities he brings to us will certainly improve our team, and his appetite and endeavour will rub off on his team-mates.
“He’s a fully-committed player who works extremely hard for his team, and is very effective in the final third.
“The club have worked extremely hard to secure his signature and I’m delighted that Danny has faith in coming to us to fulfil his ambitions!”
