Leyton Orient have revealed their next transfer targets… a group of dog walkers.
The National League side are looking for local O’s supporters to walk their male dogs around the Brisbane Road pitch during mornings and afternoons to ward off foxes.
A statement read: “The Club have been having issues with foxes entering the playing surface at night (quite literally the one time we don’t want a fox in the box) and it is thought a dog’s presence will help prevent further pitch invasions at The Breyer Group Stadium.”
Meanwhile, Orient’s own fox in the box Macauley Bonne scored twice on Saturday in a 3-2 win over Concord Rangers.
