Former Cheltenham Town striker Dan Holman has left Aldershot Town.
The National League side have mutually terminated his contract with the 28-year-old due to travel commitments.
Holman made 13 appearances this season, scoring once against Bromley at the EBB Stadium.
While on loan from Colchester at Woking in 2015, Holman scored 14 goals in 26 appearances and was then signed by Cheltenham in January 2016, helping them to win the National League title with 16 goals in 18 games.
Since then he appeared 26 times for the club in League Two, but a foot injury limited his playing time and Holman went out on loan last season to Boreham Wood and Leyton Orient last season.
Shots boss Gary Waddock said: “Dan leaves with our best wishes, unfortunately the travel was becoming too much for him and both parties agreed that this would be the best move, we wish him well with his future endeavours.”
