Barrow boss Ian Evatt has been named the Vanarama National League manager of the month for December.
Following on from a win at Aldershot and a home draw against high flying Wrexham at the end of November, the Bluebirds began December in impressive manner be securing a comfortable 2-0 win at Braintree.
A week later a Tyler Smith strike gave Barrow another three points against Maidstone, while the Festive Period saw Barrow pick up a win over high flying Soilhull Moors before earning a credible point against AFC Fylde on Boxing Day.
The Bluebirds then secured a win over promotion challengers Salford City thanks to a late Jacob Blyth before they played out another stalemate against AFC Fylde.
Following on from their impressive December, Barrow are now sitting in a comfortable 12th position in the National League table.
