Braintree Town have been deducted three for fielding an ineligible player during a National League match this season.
The Iron were relegated from Non-League‘s top-flight and have now fallen to 23rd place.
The club admitted the charge and was found guilty of a breach of Rule 6.9 for a player participating in the fixture against AFC Fylde in April after the expiration of a Short Term Loan registration.
Braintree beat the Coasters 2-1 but it was determined that the points gained from the match were to be deducted from the club’s record.
The National League table has been amended accordingly and Havant & Waterlooville have moved up to 22nd place.
