The Non-League Paper is hitting newstands around the country today after Wrexham‘s Red Dragons got all fired up to climb out of the top flight’s drop zone.
Goals from Omari Patrick and James Jennings earned a 2-0 victory over promotion-chasing Solihull Moors – just days after Wrexham boss Dean Keates and his side beat Eastleigh by the same scoreline.
Fans of the Welsh side have had little to cheer about this season but Keates tells Sunday’s paper it’s been a big week for the club and thoroughly deserved.
“We got what we deserved today and I can’t give the players enough credit,” said Keates after the win at the Racecourse Ground.
Barrow stay three points clear at the top of the National League table following a 1-0 win against Aldershot Town.
Bromley remain second thanks to a 2-1 victory at Chesterfield, who are second from bottom while Woking are fourth after beating Hartlepool United.
Other results included Stockport County seeing off Chorley 4-2 and readers can enjoy full reports and ‘super stats’ from every one of Saturday’s National League contests.
