GOALS either side of half-time earned Boreham Wood a top-half finish and condemned Chester to their sixth consecutive defeat.
A deflected Kenny Davis effort in first-half added time opened the scoring for Wood, with Angelo Balanta sowing the points up after 61 minutes.
