SHAUN PEARSON says he’s joined Wrexham to win promotion.
The 28-year-old defender has joined Dean Keates’ Red Dragons on a two-year deal from Grimsby Town.
Pearson spent six season at the Mariners, making more than 250 appearances, and helping them to promotion to the Football League through the play-offs in 2015-16.
Pearson, who made 38 appearances in League Two last season, said: “I had been at Grimsby for six years, so it took a little longer than hoped for to get up, but eventually we did it and it was a great first year back in the Football League.
