Magpies just can’t capitalise

MAIDENHEAD United failed to take advantage of their first half dominance as they were held at home by Ebbsfleet.
Daryl McMahon’s visiting side were overrun in the first half, after the Magpies had taken the lead through Harry Pritchard’s curling cross in the 26th minute.
But, despite forcing Fleet keeper Nathan Ashmore into numerous saves – including one at point blank range to deny defender Jake Goodman – the Magpies failed to kill off a side whose long unbeaten run looked very much under threat.
