GATESHEAD made it three wins from three on home soil without conceding this season as Macclesfield were swept aside.
The Heed scored goals at good times in a hard-fought first half, the second in stoppage time critical.
That knocked the stuffing out of John Askey’s Silkmen, who were distinctly second best in the second period.
Livewire striker Jordan Preston fittingly added a third in what was a good display from the Tynesiders.
