IN a game between two sides who hadn’t won for some time, it was Barrow who broke their duck with Luke James’ firsthalf effort earning the Bluebirds a first victory since December 23.
James, on loan from Forest Green Rovers, bagged the only goal just after the half hour mark, latching onto goalkeeper Steve Arnold’s long punt forward and finishing neatly past Stones stopper Lee Worgan.
It left Jay Saunders’ men without a win in the league for 15 matches, so understandable that the Stones chief cut a frustrated figure afterward.
