TWO goals from Bruno Andrade handed Boreham Wood a third win on the bounce and their first against Gateshead since being promoted in the top tier.
Striker Andrade netted a goal in each half, either side of a Wes York effort for the Heed, to further strengthen Wood’s place in the play-offs.
“That’s a big win, because of the manner in which the game panned out,” beamed manager Luke Garrard. “We weren’t at the races and I don’t think we played to the levels that we have set, but that shows a great habit.”
