GOALS either side of half-time from Andy Cook and James Norwood bolstered Tranmere’s play-off aspirations and condemned Chester to relegation to National League North football next season.
Rovers were dominant for much of the proceedings, while Chester, whose off-thefield chaos continued this week with two boardroom resignations and their unpaid football advisor Neil Young leaving the club, were rarely seen as an attacking force.
