FAMOUS ROOFERS TO BOW OUT AFTER 30 YEARS

THE man who founded Ebac Northern League outfit Jarrow Roofing Boldon Community Association more than 30 ago has closed them down.
The Roofers, relegated from Division One after finishing third from bottom, have resigned from the league.
Managing director Richie McLoughlin set up the club as a Sunday side in the Tyne & Wear Business Houses League in 1987, before switching them to Saturday football.
They worked their way to up to Step 5 via the South Tyne Senior, Tyneside Amateur and Wearside leagues and in 2005, Roofing reached the FA Vase semi finals, in what was the pin...
