MET POLICE say their appeal against their placement in the new Step 3 Southern League Premier South division is disadvantaged already because chairman Des Flanders is away.
The club say they told the FA Flanders was away but have been told the appeal will be heard on Tuesday, June 5 having originally been told it would be in May.
Officials will travel to Wembley hoping to have the decision to shift them out of the Isthmian Premier League overturned and said: “This leaves us feeling that we are already at a disadvantage. But we will do our best.”
