DEFENDER Jake Caprice has left Leyton Orient to sign for Football League newcomers Tranmere – and boss Micky Mellon believes it’s a real coup for Rovers.
The 25-year-old right-back joined the O’s from Woking last summer and went on to make 36 appearances in his one and only season at Brisbane Road.
However, Caprice has now been handed a chance in the EFL by Tranmere, who beat Boreham Wood 2-1 in the National League promotion final at Wembley in May to secure promotion. He has signed a two-year contact at Prenton Park.
