BOYCE’S ON TO A WINNER AS SPITFIRES STRIKE LATE

AN Andrew Boyce header two minutes from time rewarded Ben Strevens’s Spitefires for an excellent defensive display.
Mark Yeates’ cross at the second attempt, after his initial corner had been cleared, was headed in by an unmarked Boyce at the back post to win an otherwise uninspiring game at Hayes Lane.
The win ensures that Eastleigh stay on the heels of the play-off chasing pack and Eastleigh boss Strevens couldn’t fail to hide his delight at full time.
