JOHN Sheridan can safely afford to start thinking about next season after his Chesterfield side put the Daggers to the sword and moved into the top half of the table.
Their 2-0 victory came courtesy of a lightning quick start to the second half, with a pair of goals before the 50-minute mark.
It was a third straight win for the Spireites – their ninth from Sheridan’s 15 games in charge – and it lifted them to 12th, 13 points clear of the drop zone.
