DRAB STALEMATE AS DAGGERS EDGE TOWARDS SAFETY

DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE took a step closer towards securing safety with a hardfought point against Barrow in a game that delivered few clear-cut opportunities.
The visiting Bluebirds looked the livelier of the two sides in the first half, but good defensive work from Daggers kept the visitors at bay. The closest either side came to scoring in the first half was in the 44th minute, when Daggers’ Kenny Clark headed Angelo Balanta’s cross against the post.
