SOLIHULL Moors saw their slim title hopes finally fade after being held by Dagenham & Redbridge at a blustery Victoria Road.
Needing a win and a huge swing in goal difference, Moors fell behind to a Conor Wilkinson strike moments into the second half, only to respond with a Jermaine Hylton effort nine minutes later.
Dagenham’s Angelo Balanta saw a second-half penalty saved by Moors stopper Ryan Boot and that proved crucial as the point earned was enough to see Solihull finish seciond in the table following Salford’s defeat at Hartlepool.
