A SIMEON Akinola penalty was enough for Barnet to overcome Yeovil Town in an intriguing opening day match at The Hive.
The Glovers were left to rue a string of missed chances in the first half and found Scott Loach on good form as he kept a clean sheet on his Bees debut.
And they were made to pay just after the hour mark when Akinola slotted home from the spot after he had been hauled down by Yeovil’s Lee Collins.
