LIAM MCALINDEN’S double kept up FC Halifax’s hot start to the season.
The Shaymen have got off to a flier under new manager Pete Wild and overcame a fancied Solihull Moors side to finish the day second in the National League table.
McAlinden put Wild’s side two ahead with a goal in each half and although Alex Nicholls reduced the deficit, Halifax held strong.
But the boss felt they could have been better after the break.
