BEFORE this gripping encounter, Boreham Wood hadn’t won at Meadow Park in 14 attempts since Boxing Day 2018, while Dover had won their last six league games on the road. This victory turned the form guide on its head.
In a breathless first half, Wood’s Tyrone Marsh and Inih Effiong, for Dover, could have both scored before Kabongo Tshimanga opened the scoring for the home team after only two minutes.
