ROONEY’S A MARVEL TO PILE ON MOORS WOE

BARROW manager Ian Evatt believes the result his side managed to record against a disappointing Solihull Moors was what their recent performances have warranted.
This was by far and away the Bluebirds’ most comfortable 90 minutes of the season so far as two free kicks from the excellent John Rooney and a clinical finish from Scott Quigley eased them to victory.
While this marked the first time this season the hosts have won back-toback games, it’s now five league matches without a win for the Moors, whose weakened attack couldn’t muster a shot on target.
