DAGGERS NOT SHARP ENOUGH FOR LUCAS

DAGENHAM and Redbridge manager Peter Taylor vowed to focus on the positives after his Daggers’ side extended their unbeaten run to eight matches against Torquay United.
Substitute Jake Andrews hit the bar with a free-kick in the 90th minute for the Gulls, who had earlier had goalkeeper Lucas Covolan to thank for producing a stunning one-handed save to deny Daggers’ winger James Dobson, but Taylor remained upbeat about his side’s showing.
