HEMEL HEMPSTEAD edged a seven- goal thriller, a scoreline no-one could have predicted from a match between two teams yet to register a league point.
Hemel took the lead on 21 minutes when Taofiq Olomowewe powered home a header from a free-kick on the right.
The lead was short lived however as Liam Smyth flicked home a cross to level the scores.
On 37 minutes Romaro Dunne received the ball, 25 yards out, and drove it past Hemel keeper Dean Snedker to give The Iron the lead.
