WEALDSTONE without a win in five games took on Weymouth, who had lost their last three, so something had to give in a battle between the two teams promoted this summer.
What gave was the Weymouth defence which conceded 16 corners, from which two were headed into the net and a third was crashed against the underside of the crossbar.
Wealdstone boss Dean Brennan said: “I am very happy with the performance. It was much better.
“We are very depleted because of in moment so it was good to get the win.”
