FC HALIFAX Town took full advantage of Chesterfield’s FA Cup involvement by climbing to the top of the National League table with a comfortable victory over Eastleigh at The Shay.
A first-half brace from Jordan Slew put Pete Wild’s men in firm control before two goals in six second-half minutes from Jamie Allen and Matty Warburton sealed the victory which took the Shaymen to the summit.
