TRIALIST Michael Afuye completed a dream move to professional football with Rochdale and beamed: “I’m so proud of myself ”.
The 22-year-old winger joins Dale on an initial one-year-deal, having been at Avro FC for the past two seasons.
Afuye has trained at Spotland during pre-season and appeared as a trialist in the recent friendlies at Chorley and Tranmere Rovers.
Irish-born Afuye was born in Ireland and moved to the north west England at the age of 12.
