BOSTON United completed an impressive comeback from 2-0 down to earn a point at NLFA North Division holders, Blyth Spartans.
Blyth hadn’t been defeated in the league since beating Boston in the first game of the season and have since gone six matches unbeaten, winning three on the trot.
In contrast, however, Boston United had lost their last two games and had failed to keep a clean sheet in their previous four games.
And it was an all too familiar feeling for Ray Power’s men when Blyth went 1-0 up midway through the first half with a wind assisted strike.
