Barnet host York City in Saturday’s match at the Hive Stadium looking to bounce back from defeat last time out in the National League.
The Bees, who sit third in the league after 33 games, fell to a 1-0 away defeat to Aldershot Town on Tuesday.
They face a York side who secured a draw in their last match, a 1-1 tie with Oldham Athletic, and who sit 17th in the table.
With 63 goals in 33 games so far this season, Barnet are the league’s second-highest scorers with 1.9 goals per game. And they are conceding at an average rate, letting in 48 goals at a rate of 1.5 per game.
York, meanwhile, are below average scorers, with 1.3 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.5. They have conceded 1.5 goals per game.
The Bees are in mixed form in the National League, with two wins and a draw from their last six games.
With a win and three draws over that period, City’s form is slightly worse – they have taken six points from 18, compared to the hosts’ seven.
In the last three years, Barnet and York have played each other on three occasions. Barnet won one of them and York the other.
Their last meeting was on September 26, when Barnet won 4-2 away.
