Gateshead face a challenge to maintain their high-scoring form at home against a tight Bromley defence on Saturday.
With 86 goals in 45 games, Gateshead are the third-highest scorers in the National League ahead of the 12.15pm kick-off at the Gateshead International Stadium.
They face a Ravens side who have scored 72 in 45 matches, but conceded only 47 goals, putting them second among the league’s tightest defences – only Southend United have conceded fewer goals.
Bromley are third in the table after 45 games, of which they have won 22 and drawn 15, earning 81 points.
Gateshead are four places behind the Ravens in seventh, with 21 wins and nine draws putting them on 72 points.
In the last 10 years, Gateshead and Bromley have played each other on 13 occasions. Gateshead won two of them, Bromley eight, and they drew three times.
On average, the Tynesiders scored 1.0 goal and the Ravens 1.8 in those matches.
Their last meeting was on September 30, when Bromley won 3-1 at home.
The Tynesiders are in mixed form in the National League, with three wins and three losses from their last six games.
With three wins and two draws over that period, the visitors’ form is slightly better – they have taken 11 points from 18, compared to the home side’s nine.
Gateshead’s last match was on Wednesday, a 1-0 loss against Aldershot Town.
