GILES Phillips says the opportunity of reuniting with manager Danny Searle and centre-back partner Tyler Cordner was a vital part of his decision to join Ebbsfleet United.
American-born Phillips, 27, played with Searle and Cordner at Aldershot Town having previously turned out for QPR and Wycombe Wanderers. He then followed Searle to Ireland to play under him at Waterford.
“Knowing Danny definitely makes the transition easier. I know exactly what he requires out of me,” Phillips told the club’s website.
